• October, 2017 - Present : Executive Director, Media For Community Change Initiative

  As the Executive Director of Media For Community Change, my scope of work covers a wide range of activities, hence, requiring my full-time attention and dedication. I identify marginalized/affected areas in Africa and periodically discuss with the team on the possibilities of global or national impacts using the power of the media. I engage local leaders in the affected community to know the best ways to reach out and help them. I monitor project plans, project schedules, create budgets and expenditures. I mobilize funds, seek partnership and engage volunteers to ensure the sustainability of the organization. I also represent the organization at the board meetings and all other global conferences that aligns with the goals of Media for Community Change.

  The IUCN Commission on Education and Communication (CEC) is a voluntary network of professionals dedicated to advancing the priorities of IUCN, the global authority on the status of the natural world, through communication and education. CEC’s network contributes to IUCN’s mission by sharing knowledge, strategies, and specialist advice. The members work together around the world to promote a love of nature and a commitment to conservation on local, national, and global scales.

  I started working as podcaster at NGOpodcast Show in the year 2016. I oversee the audio editing and production. I’m presently working as a podcast host as well.
